چکیده

The stability of the interface between mortar and rock is very important in engineering construction. In this paper, all-digital acoustic emission (AE) system used to detect direct shear test mortar-rock binary medium with different sawtooth angles under normal stress states. stress-displacement information AE signal during whole shearing process are extracted. coupling relationship characteristic parameters discussed. quantitative angle strength established, three that can be predict structural instability proposed. research shows that: With increase angle, increases. obtained by least squares fitting. curve divided into five stages according change deformation law. Through analysis parameters, it found increasing makes count cumulative increase. Based on RA-AF, changes cracks tensile within were obtained, respectively. shearing, peak frequency range 120–340 kHz. Three macroscopic damage media obtained: b value, ratio crack signals, number signals a 220 Hz 320 Hz.

Simulation Analysis on the Strength and Acoustic Emission Characteristics of Jointed Rock Mass

Original scientific paper To analyse the influence of joint angle, number and spacing on the strength and acoustic emission (AE) characteristics of rock mass, the uniaxial compression model of rock specimens was established using the micro particle flow PFC2D software platform. The intact rock parameters were determined via trial and error, joints with different angles, numbers and spacing were...

Characteristics of Acoustic Emission Signals from Composites

Certain characteristics of acoustic emission (AE) signals from graphite-epoxy composite specimens were correlated last year with the mechanical behavior of the materials. Moisture degradation, which reduced the ultimate strength, resulted in a change in the AE amplitude distribution early in the loading history. Also, AE having distinct frequency spectral types tended to occur at or near singul...

Characteristics of the acoustic emission during horizontal single grit scratch tests: Part 1 characteristics and identification

Material process in grinding involves three phenomena namely: rubbing, ploughing and cutting. Rubbing and ploughing, which usually occur before or after cutting, essentially mean the energy is being applied less efficiently in terms of material removal. It is therefore important to identify the effects of these different phenomena experienced during grinding. To identify the different phenomena...

Characteristics of acoustic emission during single diamond scratching of granite

The acoustic emission (AE) measured during single diamond scratching of granite can provide valuable information about the structural composition and sawability of natural stone material. As described by Prof. Dr.-Ing. R. Clausen*, Dr, C.Y. Wang** and Dr,-Ing, M. Meding***, scratching tests are shown to i ndicate a direct relationship between the characteristics of AE generated by scoring, the ...
